This weekend, I had the great pleasure of being photographed by a dear friend (and my boyfriend’s talented mother) for her working photo portfolio, which she has been recently expanding with beautifully artistic shots of wildlife, still objects and the stunning scenery along the Emerald Coast. With the intent of capturing equally artsy portraits, we visited Downtown Pensacola, where the architecture and lighting was “just right” for what she had in mind. What she had in mind truly came to life - including the wardrobe (check out those boots!) and guitar prop (no, unfortunately, I do not actually play).
I think you will agree that emotion seeps from every image, and the various colors and depths add a dimension not customary to amateur photographers. It’s undeniable she has an eye for capturing “the shot” and turning it into a painting, a story to be told. I’m thrilled to have been a part of this particular story, which I’ve humorously named “Latina Taylor Swift.” ;)
Tamara would very much appreciate your feedback on her photography, so leave your comments here. What are your thoughts? Which one is your favorite?

I love a lot of these, and I think my favorites are some of the closer shots of you. But my one complaint is some are a bit over processed. Picture four and six would be great, but they look a bit unnatural due to editing. :(
